Easy Peasy! How to Transfer Tickets Using the Ticket Transfer Feature on LOKET X
With the Ticket Transfer feature, you can easily and securely share tickets with anyone!
You can freely enter at any time, and your friends can simply scan their tickets and head in without any coordination needed No hassle! Here’s how to transfer event tickets using the Ticket Transfer feature on the LOKET X app:
1. Open the LOKET X app and log in to your account.
2. Go to My Tickets and select the active ticket you want to transfer.
3. Click Transfer Ticket at the top of the E-Ticket page.
If the Transfer Ticket button doesn’t appear, this feature may not be available for that event. This could be because the event organizer or promoter hasn’t enabled ticket transfers or the transfer period has expired. So, make sure your event ticket supports this feature!
4. Choose the ticket(s) you want to transfer in the transferable tickets section. You can send more than one ticket, but you must keep at least 1 (one) ticket in your account.
5. Confirm the number of tickets you want to transfer, then click Transfer Ticket.
6. Enter the recipient’s email address. You’ll need to retype it to avoid errors.
An incorrect email entry won’t cancel the transfer, so double-check the recipient’s email before proceeding! Once the email is correct, tap Continue.
7. Review the ticket details and recipient information. If the details & info are correct, click Secure Transfer.
8. The last step is to verify your transfer. This is to ensure the security of your Ticket Transfer.
9. After the ticket is submitted, you’ll see a Transfer Sent page with the ticket status:
- Success – The recipient will receive a transfer notification.
- Failed – You’ll see an error message explaining why the transfer failed, and the ticket will be returned to your account.
To track the progress and history of your transfers, go to the Manage Tickets page by tapping the icon in the upper right corner of the My Tickets section.
How to Know If Your Ticket Has Been Claimed?
After sending a ticket, you’ll see one of these statuses:
- Pending – The recipient has yet to claim the ticket. At this stage, the QR code will disappear, the ticket status will change to "Pending," and the ticket will be temporarily unusable.
- Claimed – The recipient has successfully claimed the ticket. You will receive a confirmation email, and the ticket will be removed from your account and transferred to theirs.

FAQs About Ticket Transfers in LOKET X
- Why doesn’t the Transfer Ticket button appear on my E-Ticket page?
The Transfer Ticket feature is available for many events, but there are rules and restrictions. If the Transfer Ticket button is missing from your E-Ticket or Booking Confirmation page, it could be due to one of the following reasons:
- The promoter has not enabled this feature for the event.
- It is past the transfer period. If the transfer period hasn’t started or has already ended, the button won’t be available.
- The recipient has already claimed the ticket. Transferred tickets cannot be sent again.
- The event has been canceled or has ended. If the event didn’t take place or has already passed, the ticket transfer feature is automatically disabled.
- Can I transfer all my tickets for the same event?
No. You must keep at least 1 (one) ticket in your account for the event.
- Does the recipient need a LOKET account?
Yes, the recipient must have a LOKET account. If they don’t have one, they can sign up via the LOKET X app or Loket.com. If they already have an account, they just need to Log In using the email where the ticket was sent, and the ticket will appear in Manage Tickets.
- Can I transfer a ticket if it hasn’t become an E-Ticket yet?
Yes! As long as the transfer period is still active, you can send a ticket even if its status is still Booking Confirmation or has already been converted into an E-Ticket
- Are all types of tickets transferable?
No. Only event tickets can be transferred. Add-on tickets such as merchandise, bundled packages, giveaway tickets, and ticket insurance cannot be transferred. You can check which tickets are eligible for transfer when selecting them.
- Can a ticket transfer be canceled?
If the recipient hasn’t claimed the ticket and the status is still In Progress, they can cancel the transfer by contacting LOKET Customer Support via phone at 021-3000-3160 or email at [email protected]. For more details, check the Help Center.
